Inside Sales vacancy - an internationally successful educational publishing company, based in Hampshire is looking to appoint an Inside Sales Representative to join their Vocational sales team. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving adoptions and direct sales of Vocational print and electronic resources to UK FE colleges.

You will also create and implement a sales strategy for the territory; achieve sales targets by promoting core and secondary titles to all new and existing college customers; work with Field Sales Reps and the Vocational Sales Manager to ensure adoptions are fulfilled through the college’s preferred kit supplier, wholesaler or bookshop. Additional responsibilities will include responding to sales enquiries from FE college academics and librarians in a professional and timely manner as well as co-ordinating and implementing telesales activity to prospect sales leads, promote core products and close adoptions.

The ideal candidate will have solid demonstrable telesales experience, a successful track record in telesales, strong Microsoft Office skills (word, excel, outlook, powerpoint), have good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise the workload through effective time management skills. Good communication skills and a professional and persuasive telephone manner will be essential.

Previous telesales experience within the education or publishing sector will be a significant advantage.
