This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward thinking publishing organisation as their Inside Sales Representative looking after their continued growth in the UK Higher Education market. As an Inside Sales Representative, you will have the following responsibilities:
- Promote products and maximise sales to key customers throughout the UK.
- Maintain and develop strong new and existing customer relations through regular contact.
- Identify and develop new and existing business opportunities.
- Work closely with marketing and product development colleagues, feeding back market and product intelligence.
- Produce reports reviewing key sales activities
This is not an exhaustive list of the responsibilities of an Inside Sales Representativeand you must be confident influencing and selling over the phone along with new business generation. This is a fantastic opportunity for a graduate with some sales experience, or a non graduate with more extensive telephone sales experience, to launch their career in academic publishing.
It would be an advantage, but not essential, for this Inside Sales Representative to have some academic sales experience working in a publishing or bookselling environment. Excellent communication, influencing and relationship building skills are essential to this role.
