Head of Sales (Higher Education) – This could be your opportunity to take your sales management career to the next level! One of the world's largest publishers of academic books and on-line educational resources is looking to appoint an experienced manager to the new position of Head of Sales. The position will be home based, requiring appropriate meetings in Head Office and the successful candidate will provide the strategic direction to the sales team, selling educational resources into the European and international market. You will be responsible for the management of a strong team and will develop and execute appropriate sales and marketing strategies to achieve the agreed profitability goals of the company.
Able to demonstrate strong leadership and coaching skills, your ability to train and develop a first class team will be critical to this role.
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate prior successful experience in developing business plans; managing budgets and leading staff development. This role will involve extensive travel. Consideration will also be given to a strong sales manager who is ready to step up to this senior level role.
