Description:
A leading South West publisher of illustrated non-fiction books is looking for a Field Sales Manager to maximise their book sales for an extremely prestigious customer. This is a central field sales role for a candidate in the Leeds and surrounding area. Please note this is a 12 month contract with the potential to become permanent.
Key duties:
- Maximize sales of established products across the dedicated territory
- Manage financial territory budgets & forecasts
- Visit key stores on a regular basis
- Promote and sell products through direct customer contacts
- Schedule sales calls and submit weekly reports of sales activities
- Develop and maintain strong customer relations
Experience / skills required:
- Proven sales rep experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to build strong client relationships
- Keen commercial awareness and strategic analytical skills
- Reliable and self-sufficient attitude
- Strong Excel skills
- A clean driving license is essential
- A passion for commercial book sales is desirable
