Leading international publisher seeks a highly motivated and organised French Speaking Field Sales Executive with excellent communication and consultative sales skills to take responsibility for the sale of reference products into academic and public libraries across Southern Europe.

A new position has become available for an ambitious and flexible Field Sales Executive in the Southern Europe region to join a large, successful and very highly regarded global publisher. Our client is looking to recruit a confident, proactive and organised Field Sales Executive to drive and maximise sales of their products in the specified Southern Europe area.
As a Field Sales Executive, the key day-to-day tasks and responsibilities include:
• To create and implement a sales strategy for the territory
• To effectively plan and attend customer and prospect meetings
• To maximize sales through identifying customers’ needs, matching products to those needs
• Preparing and delivering sales presentations, writing proposals and closing sales
• To represent the company at key industry events such as conferences, exhibitions and trade shows
• To cultivate and maintain extensive product knowledge of a large and growing product list
The ideal candidate for this role will be based in Southern Europe or the UK, working from a home office and will be a fluent French speaker. You will be educated to degree level and will have solid and demonstrable sales experience, ideally within the information or publishing industry with an understanding of solution-selling. Knowledge of Spanish and/or Italian would be advantageous.
Flexibility to travel is essential as this role will require travel throughout the territory, and some travel outside the territory for conferences.
