Are you an experienced passionate publicist looking for your next challenge?

My client, a leading trade publishing house based in London is looking to appoint an experienced Publicity Manager, to develop and manage innovative publicity campaigns across their fiction lists.

The purpose of this role is to create award winning campaigns to strengthen author brands as well as promoting the fiction division.

Responsibilities include: identifying and developing opportunities for raising consumer awareness by targeting subject areas and creating timely and effective consumer publicity campaigns; promoting authors or experts to the media; being the media relations expert for the commercial and trade titles to maximise PR opportunities; building and establishing author and series brands; working closely with other departments to contribute to editorial and marketing campaign plans and pitches, and measure and evaluate campaigns, reporting to the findings to the wider business.

The successful candidate will have proven experience in digital and traditional PR, strong experience in delivering impactful major campaigns in a commercial environment, an excellent list of contacts across all media and experience of managing events and author tours. They will be confident, organised, assertive but tactful, with strong communication and presentations skills, excellent relationship building and managing skills, and a positive, proactive attitude.
