A specialist educational publisher, based in the South East of England is looking to appoint a Senior ELT Editors to join their busy team. The successful candidate will provide editorial and project management of individual projects, including liaison with in-house and freelance staff (authors, editors, designers, typesetters etc) to ensure projects are completed to a high standard and within deadlines. Other responsibilities will include copy editing and content editing product material, monitoring schedules and budgets, and administrative support where appropriate. The successful candidate will be expected to keep up with developments in ELT, and on occasion, to attend book fairs and other promotional events in the UK or abroad. The ideal candidate will have a CELTA, ESOL or PSGE qualification and ELT teaching experience; a solid understanding of ELT publishing and proven editing and project coordination experience within educational publishing. Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills are essential, as is the ability to handle a varied and busy workload.
