Our client is a leading international publisher of science books, journals, reference works and electronic media, with offices all over the world.  Based in London, they are looking to appoint an Editor in Training, experienced in technologies to work from home to develop your own folio of computer publications.

Your main duties will involve: developing title ideas, finding authors and developing new manuscripts; building an author network; attending technology conferences; developing relationships with authors and other industry members; maintaining communications with editorial counterparts and colleagues; and ensure timely preparation of manuscripts so they are ready for production.

The successful candidate will be confident in using HTML and other programming languages with excellent written and spoken English skills. As the role is working from home the candidate must be self motivated and comfortable with this working environment. With a keen eye for detail, the successful candidate will be flexible and confident in speaking to a variety of people in different industries with strong business drive and entrepreneurial skills. The successful candidate will hold a degree or equivalent in a Science background.
