A well known academic library resource supplier is looking for a committed and highly communicative eCollections Service Representative. The role’s responsibilities are to promote and publicise their new platforms and procure membership and uptake to their academic online resource service. Based either in their Oxford or London office, this initial 12 month contract role, demands a consultative, solution selling approach, along with an innovative and proactive attitude to developing strong customer relationships. Ideally you will have some sales experience in the academic library arena, along with established networks, though candidates with an academic or higher education sales background will also be considered. You will have highly developed communication, organisation and leadership skills, as well as a desire to create long term, service satisfying relationships to understand and meet all their future digital resource needs. You must be prepared to travel in the UK and abroad, attending face to face meetings, as well as professionally representing the company at conferences, shows and marketing events. A clean driver’s licence is preferable. This role may have a working from home option.
