Description:

A leading high profile multi-media publisher seeks a talented but commercially experienced  divisional director to manage, design and implement its long term strategy for its future growth plans and take responsibility for the p&l.

This long established and successful publisher has broad media interests and are uniquely placed to take advantage of the new business development opportunities that currently exist in the commercial non book market sectors, and are well placed to exploit the digital opportunities that currently exist. 

You will need to demonstrate previous senior management experience and a successful track record in leading and inspiring a senior team of experienced and talented individuals.

Your background may be either in publishing sales, publishing general management or commercial, but you will need recent exposure to book publishing or media or related commercial sectors and have a good grounding and knowledge of how to exploit digital content opportunities. 

The key skills required for this role is the ability to run a very commercial and entrepreneurial business unit, as well as great general management and communication skills combined with a very sound strategic approach to growing a business.

This is a senior appointment and as you would expect the remuneration package will reflect this and will depend on the experience you bring to the role.
