At Egmont we are passionate about children’s publishing. Our specialist re-uses and
in-house customer packaging department is recruiting a Designer.

As an experienced designer, you would be responsible for assisting the Creative Manager in all aspects of the department and predominantly working on the Dean list, in our
fast-moving Customer Publishing unit. You will be working on re-use and reformatting licensed character titles, including Thomas and Friends, Fireman Sam, Winnie-the-Pooh and Mr. Men. You will also assist on designing bespoke titles for special customers across all Egmont lists, including fiction and picture books.

To be considered for this vacancy you should have experience of working on children’s books and a sound knowledge of all the processes involved. You should be a good team player, self-motivated and independent. Plus have strong project management skills and the ability to run fast track schedules, as you will be working closely with the publisher, editors, production and the sales departments. A strong portfolio and great sense of humour are of course essential!
