Ivy Kids is the exciting new children’s imprint from The Ivy Group, the UK's most stylish illustrated book publisher. We are looking for a talented Designer to join the team and help create innovative children's books.

The role:
Working alongside the Commissioning Editor to produce new children’s book presentations and sales material.

The person:
The successful candidate will have excellent design skills and creative flair. They will need to demonstrate good commercial awareness, an interest in children’s publishing, and an excellent eye for trends.

Competency in the Adobe Creative Suite is essential, as is the ability to use some more traditional visualization and drawing skills. The candidate must be highly organised and capable of managing their own and others’ workflow across tight schedules.

A significant part of the role will be seeking out and commissioning illustrators and designers, so a strong interest in illustration is a must.Knowledge of emerging digital platforms and basic HTML/CSS would be an advantage but is not essential.
