A leading international Educational Publisher with offices in Singapore is seeking a Business Development Manager to help create opportunities for their professional development division.  Our client offers a competitive salary package and opportunities for growth.

Based in Singapore, the Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying and developing business opportunities that would ensure the continued growth of the professional development arm and raise its profile internationally.  Main responsibilities will be to: develop business strategies and opportunities, formalising the product offering, communicating with clients to understand their professional development needs and communicating with the academic team to propose educational solutions; draft contractual documents and proposals to clients, negotiating pricing and terms, preparing and managing the budgets and reports; drive and manage key events; and work closely with marketing on the development of marketing collaterals and the publishing of course materials.  You will also be responsible for reviewing and setting up administrative processes and involved in proposals for strategic development.

The successful candidate will have strong business acumen and the ability to communicate clearly with all stakeholders.  With extensive experience in the Education sector, ideally in Singapore, you will have a proven track record of business development and of achieving results.  Attention to detail, a high level of organization and a commercial mindset are all essential.
