Our client is a successful online information provider to the library markets seeking to recruit a confident, proactive and commercially-minded Area Sales Manager based in The Netherlands to drive and maximise sales of their diverse portfolio of online products.

As Area Sales Manager, your main responsibilities and duties will include:

• Strategic growth, development and management of sales for key accounts and consortia
• Coordinate campaigns with the Regional Sales Manager and marketing department
• Continue to grow territory sales, exceed targets and develop new business
• Spend time in territory meeting customers and attending conferences
• Forecasting, monitoring and achievement of team and individual targets
• Deputising for the Regional Sales Manager when required
• Attend exhibitions, events and conferences as required

To be considered for the role of Area Sales Manager, you will need to be degree educated and have proven sales experience working with libraries, ideally within publishing or electronic information providing. You will also need an enthusiastic results orientated personality with the ambition and determination to succeed as well as a clean driving licence.
