Salary : €43,000 + €10,000 Bonus 

Our client, a leading publisher of information to the library and academic market is looking to appoint an Area Sales Manager for France. 

Summary: 

The ideal candidate will have proven track record in sales, preferably in a consultative environment. 
Purpose of the role will be to develop existing business relationships in territory and increase new business in order to achieve annual sales targets. 
• Monitor activities of distributors in the territory and protect profitability. 
• Make regular direct contact with customers (approximately 3 days out of 5 visiting customers in the territory). 
• Present and demonstrate products to existing and potential customers. 
• To prepare forecasts, sales analyses, trip reports etc and attend exhibitions as required. 

Qualifications: 

• Must have a Degree 
• Degree level education experience in the publishing sector, especially in Electronic Publishing. 
• The ideal candidate must also have a proven ability to work independently in this remote based role. 
• An ambitious fast learner with knowledge of Internet essential. 
• Salesforce.com or similar CRM tool experience desirable. 
• Must have a clean driving license. 
• Must speak fluent French and English
