Our client is a provider of information services to academic institutions, public government, libraries and schools. Their discipline areas cover arts and humanities, business and management, social sciences, to science, technology and medicine and general reference.  They are looking to recruit a French speaking Area Sales Manager for France.  The location for this role is open.

Working closely with colleagues in the EMEA Sales Team and at Head Office, the Area Sales Manager would be responsible for all sales activity and the key accounts within France.  Your duties will be to develop existing business relationships and new business opportunities; to plan and implement new business campaigns within the region; to make regular face to face and telephone contact with existing and potential customers; to demonstrate company products; and to attend conferences, exhibitions, seminars and open days. Keeping up to date with all developments in the target industry will also be an essential part of the role.

With fluent language skills in both English and French combined with a passion for sales and a customer focused attitude, the successful candidate will be an ambitious and organised professional with proven sales experience in the publishing sector and the ability to meet targets.  You will be a self motivated individual with excellent communication and presentation skills along with effective interpersonal skills.  A valid driving license is essential as is willingness to travel and the ability to work remotely and independently.
