This role is based in Doha and is working for a publishing partnership between the Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development and a world famous London Stock Exchange listed independent Publishing house, home to some of the finest and best-loved authors.

The focus of the partnership is on publishing books of excellence and originality in six main areas: fiction and non-fiction for adults and for children, educational books for schools, academic books for universities and researchers, classics of Arabic literature, and reference books.

An exciting and challenging job for an experienced Editor wanting to be part of a dynamic publishing company based in the Middle East. We are seeking an enthusiastic and meticulous Arabic-speaking project editor with a proven track record and relevant experience, to work with the Business Development Director in the development, editing and coordination of our client-based publications, with a particular focus on Arabic editorial content. The ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, often highly illustrated and to tight deadlines, is essential.

You will be responsible for the detailed project management of titles in development and through to delivery of printed books, and will handle freelance translators, editors and proofreaders. The post is based within a lively and multinational team in Doha, liaising with the London office.
