A fast growing Oxford publications company is recruiting an Advertising Sales Assistant: in a nutshell, this is a self starter with drive, creativity and excellent organisational skills looking for their first or second role in sales and marketing.   This challenging and rewarding vacancy is at a small B2B company, with big plans for the future of water and this is your opportunity to be part of it.  Day to day you will be supporting the Advertising Sales Manager and the Media Partnership Manager, in managing the company's advertising bookings. This will have administrative, sales and marketing responsibilities, so stellar, articulate and effective communication skills are a must!  From organising advert spaces, ensuring all artwork is submitted on time to tracking partnership contracts, your role will be diverse and you will find this company supports your career development. You will be expected to contribute creative direct marketing ideas and plans and assisting in preparing marketing materials for international conference, and potentially attending these as you grow into the role. You will enjoy and be motivated in making your own sales pitches over the phone (training can be provided on the publications and products), as well as being confident in exploring and exploiting marketing opportunities.
