Our client, a long established and successful global publishing company, is searching for an Account Manager for UK, Ireland and Benelux. You will be focusing on delivering innovative, high quality STM content products to Research, Academic and Corporate markets.

They are looking for a professional with a proven track record in sales to join our fast growing and highly successful corporate sales team. This role will require you to deliver growth from markets in the UK and Ireland. Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager for the EMEA, the primary objective will be to maximise revenues across our product portfolio. This is a role for an experienced sales person who knows what it takes to be successful so among other activities, your primary responsibilities will be:

• To maintain sales and develop new sales growth with existing customers
• Prospect and develop new sales with new customers in new market sectors
• Build a robust and dynamic sales and account plans for your territory
• Acquire a deep understanding of your customers’ critical business issues, build a compelling solution that addresses these issues and maximises our revenue potential.
• Establish and monitor sales priorities, targets and objectives in the context of the overall corporate sales strategy
• To report back on a regular basis on sales activity, initiatives & results

This role is likely to be home-based with extensive travel to customer sites within Europe.

Requirements

• Achievement / results driven with 5-10 years B2B field sales experience.
• Proven track record in solution selling
• Consultative selling sales skills

• Confident and enthusiastic
• Customer service orientated
• Exceptional client facing presentation sales skills
• Graduate calibre ( BSc Min)
