An exciting opportunity has arisen for a strong sales person to join a leading Academic publishing organisation.  Our client is a provider of online information services for academic institutions, public government, libraries and schools.  They are looking to recruit an Account Manager for Turkey.  The successful candidate is to work from a home-office based in the territory. 

As the Account Manager you would be responsible for all sales activity and the key accounts within the territory, achieving a set revenue target for new and renewal sales.  Your duties will be to develop existing business relationships and new business opportunities; to plan and implement new business campaigns within the region; to make regular face to face and telephone contact with existing and potential customers; to demonstrate company products; and to attend conferences, exhibitions, seminars and open days. Keeping up to date with all developments in the target industry will also be an essential part of the role.

With fluent language skills in English and Turkish, combined with a passion for sales and a customer focused attitude, the successful candidate will be an ambitious and results oriented professional with proven sales experience, ideally in the electronic and/or academic publishing sector.  You will have excellent communication and organisation skills and be a self motivated individual with strong presentation skills and effective interpersonal skills.  Willingness to travel and the ability to work remotely and independently is essential. In return, the company offers a competitive salary and commission package.
