Gollancz is to hold a one-day multi-media science fiction and fantasy festival at Waterstones Piccaddilly, featuring authors including Joanne M Harris, Ben Aaronovitch and Patrick Rothfuss.

Waterstones’ business development manager Neil Best is to leave the company after 25 years in bookselling.
He will leave the company to move to Eastbourne to spend more time with his young family.
Best began in bookselling in 1989 and worked in Waterstones in the UK and Europe, moving to head office in 2006.
