Penguin is to re-issue the 1968 novelisation of "The Prisoner" as the remake of the cult sci fi thriller series comes to ITV1 this spring.
The Prisoner, by the late author Thomas M Disch, was out of print, with Viking acquiring UK and Commonwealth rights from ITV Studios for an undisclosed sum.

Viking has twice increased the print run of Andrew Rawnsley’s book The End of the Party, ahead of next week’s publication.
Initially, the Penguin imprint had ordered 18,000 copies of the £25 hb; when the book comes out on Monday (1st March) this will have grown to 26,000.
