British publishers have won nominations for the Eisner Awards, the USA's most prestigious comic and graphic novel industry prizes.

US art and illustrated publisher Abrams has announced it is to buy London-based graphic novel publisher SelfMadeHero, in a move that will see the SelfMadeHero imprint launched in the US.
