Patricia Scanlan moves from Transworld to S&S

Irish author Patricia Scanlan has left Transworld for Simon & Schuster.

The novelist, who has been with Transworld since 1994, has signed a two-book deal for world rights to her titles through Maxine Hitchcock, editorial director of fiction at S&S, and agent Sarah Lutyens at Lutyens & Rubinstein.

Waterstones' "promised land" due for Christmas

Print sales down 13% in Feb
