• Second quarter income drop for HarperCollins

    HarperCollins saw a decrease in operating income for the second quarter, ending 31st December, parent company News Corp has announced. Operating income was 54m dollars for the second quarter, a 29.8% decrease from 77m dollars a year ago. For the six months ending 31st December, operating income was 109m dollars, down from 147m dollars.

  • No e-book for Harry

    The new Harry Potter book will not be released as an e-book, the Associated Press reports. "Sorry, e-book fans, whoever you are. You will be able to read the new Harry Potter on paper, listen to it, probably purchase it in Braille. But don't expect to download the text-- at least legally."
