UIT Cambridge buys Devon's Green Books

UIT Cambridge has bought Devon-based publisher Green Books for an undisclosed sum.

Green Books' managing director John Elford and editorial director Amanda Cuthbert have left the company in the move, but five employees will remain and work for UIT. The business will stay in its Totnes home and Green Books will continue to operate...

Earthscan makes it a hat-trick at IPA

Earthscan scored a treble at this year's Independent Publishers Awards, picking up three of the gongs including the top prize, the Independent Publisher of the Year.

The publisher was also awarded International Achievement of the Year and Lightning Source Academic & Professional Publisher of the Year....
