Little, Brown imprint Abacus is celebrating the big four-oh this year by reissuing 18 of its most notable titles, with a uniform jacket look and new introductions from the likes of Bill Clinton and Howard Jacobson.
The titles chosen for the anniversary are a mixture of fiction and non-fiction, and will all be released on 4th April...

Wm Heinemann is producing a special "create your own jacket" edition of the new Douglas Coupland novel Generation A (3rd September), to be published alongside the standard hardback.
The special edition will be a cased signed hardback, minus a flap-jacket, and containing a code which the bookbuyer uses on a website (...

Novelist Douglas Coupland has moved to Wm Heinemann, after the publisher beat off five others to buy UK and Commonwealth rights in two novels. The "major" deal was done with Eric Simonoff at Janklow & Nesbit.
The first novel will be titled Generation A in a mirroring of Coupland's famous debut Generation X...
