Apple has recorded a profit of $3.25bn (£2.12bn) for the three months ending 26th June, up 77% on the $1.83bn profit from same period in 2009.
The profit was taken from revenue of $15.7bn, up from $9.73bn last year, of which 52% came from international sales. Gross margin has slipped slightly, to 39.1% from 40.9%.
