Wiley is an international publisher in print and electronic formats for academic, educational, professional, and trade markets.

We wish to appoint a highly motivated Sales Representative with excellent communication, influencing and negotiation skills to sell all Wiley and Blackwell products to trade and academic booksellers in the midlands and central southern England.

The successful candidate will have a proven sales/marketing capability ideally in a publishing or bookselling role. Key responsibilities include the management and development of existing relationships whilst working with marketing, editorial and publicity colleagues to create innovative sell-in and promotional opportunities for our customers. To achieve this, your product presentations will be professional and dynamic, you will have a highly developed awareness of the strength of Wiley and Blackwell’s brands and you will be prepared to attend book launches and other events as necessary.

You will require determination and enthusiasm to meet and exceed your sales targets and you must also be able to plan, organise and prioritise your workload efficiently.
