Fixed term contract (maternity leave)

ABRSM Publishing is the publishing company of the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music. It has a catalogue that encompasses not only music and support materials for examinations but also innovative educational collections, practical performing editions of standard repertoire, examplar recordings of the highest quality and authoritative text books.

You will join our very busy department which handles the production and printing of over 100 new sheet music publications and the reprinting of 300 titles a year. You will be responsible for planning and co-ordinating the design and print purchasing requirements for all departments of the Associated Board, and administer the new title process.

You will supervise the Production team and work closely with the Production Director in running the department. You will have excellent administrative and organisational skills, as well as a proven track record of the production environment in publishing.

A degree, or equivalent in music is highly desirable, as is a high level of computer literacy and an eye for detail. The ability to read and perform music at a minimum level of Grade 8 is essential.
