Our client is a prestigious healthcare publisher and services provider with a comprehensive portfolio across journals, learning and knowledge products, marketing services and events on and offline.

Following a corporate restructure, a requirement has arisen for an experienced Head of Marketing to manage and develop the marketing function at corporate and product level across the full portfolio.

Working closely with the Marketing and Customer Services Director, you will define and oversee the delivery of an effective strategy, inputting into product strategies and creating a strategy at corporate level, at individual product level and cross-product to maximise sales. You will review pricing and introduce new business and pricing models where appropriate, and you will also develop and ensure effective delivery of the corporate brand. You will also develop advanced digital marketing capabilities across the department and develop and implement an effective PR strategy for the group. You will directly manage a team of 6 and indirectly manage a further 9 staff.

You will have at least 5 years’ senior-level marketing management experience in STM publishing, with a very strong focus on strategic marketing. You will be a proven builder, develop and manager of marketing teams, and you will also have demonstrable experience in digital marketing, brand development and product management. Above all, you will have gravitas, strategic vision and drive.
