Our client is an exciting, fast paced and growing company with offices in Oxfordshire, California and New York. Their focus is on providing software and services to the information and publishing industry. This includes providing innovative and advanced technological solutions in electronic publishing of scholarly publications. They are now looking to appoint a Marketing Communications Manager to support and implement the global marketing function and be responsible for all marketing collateral (brochures, adverts, etc. and manage the marketing budget).

The duties are varied and include: organising and managing all marketing communication projects including, direct mail, telemarketing and email campaigns to client base and prospective publisher partners, project manage all promotional marketing, advertising etc. within agreed budgets and timescales, manage production and design of all sales & marketing collateral – brochures, posters, promotional gifts etc., write copy for press releases and marketing materials, organising and manage exhibiting at global conferences and manage staff attendance at conferences, production of newsletter, press releases and assist in strategic marketing activities.

You will be educated to degree level or equivalent, have worked in a scholarly publishing environment and have experience of working across the full marketing mix, have strong project management and organisational skills, experience of copy writing for marketing literature and have a passion and real enthusiasm and commitment to continuing your marketing career.
