Our client, a leading, global Educational Publisher is looking for an experienced Production Manager to contribute to the development of strategic planning and to make sure that current and future production requirements are met, based 25mins from Liverpool Street Station, responsibilities will include managing and developing the purchasing of manufacturing (print) and some pre-press services for the prestigious ELT publishing programmes, both frontlist and backlist, you will also manage a team of approximately 6-7 production controllers.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in book production and pre-press processes, experience of working with both book and non-book products (not magazines) and a sound understanding of the global print market and suppliers. You should have good people management skills and a sound understanding of management information systems.
