Are you a confident and results driven sales person looking for the next step in your career in journals sales? Our client, a well respected Scientific/ Medical press in Central London, is looking to appoint a Sales Manager to manage their portfolio of Journals Subscriptions.
The Sales Manager will play a key role in managing the relationships with customers of the subscription based journals. These customers range from individuals to large institutions so you will need to be confident in dealing with a variety of customers and their needs. You will be communicating with customers regarding the pricing of subscription products as well as negotiating to achieve the best position for the company.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a significant level of sales experience within STM publishing, including subscription sales. You will have excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills and an ability to deal with contacts at all levels. Good commercial awareness and negotiation skills are also required.
