This prestigious international publishing house have a vacancy for a Production Editor to manage the publication of a group of titles within the Socio-Cultural Studies and Behavioural Sciences production team. Duties will include chasing academic editors for copy for publication, to agreed schedules, checking copy edited manuscripts, selecting and monitoring freelance copy editors, preparing issues for typesetting and coordinating proof despatch.  Building relationships and liaising with academic editors and other external/internal contacts.
The successful candidate will ideally be able to copy-edit and proof-read, have a keen eye for detail, be happy to work to tight deadlines and possess excellent communication and organisational skills. This company offers excellent training and a very good benefits package.
