We work with some of the world’s favourite children’s brands including Mr. Men, Winnie-the-Pooh, Tintin, Disney and Thomas the Tank Engine and have an impressive picture book and fiction list that includes such household names as Lemony Snicket, Michael Morpurgo, Enid Blyton, Helen Oxenbury and William Nicholson.

We are one of the largest children’s publishers in the UK with a diverse catalogue catering for children of all ages, and a dedicated policy towards ethical publishing. We are looking for an experienced Marketing Executive, within Egmont Publishing, to take responsibility for a variety of children’s brands. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and executing marketing plans for new and backlist products, plan and implement marketing campaigns and monitor expenditure for the lists.

You will need to be able to plan, implement and control direct promotion budget for lists, monitor and analyse expenditure for lists on an ongoing basis. Candidates will have prior experience in a marketing environment, ideally in children’s publishing and will be able to demonstrate commercial awareness, a customer-focused approach, an innovative and proactive approach to marketing, adaptability and flexibility and sound decision-making skills. Knowledge of direct mail, textbook marketing, e-marketing and an interest in one or more of the  subject areas would be desirable.
