HarperCollins Publishers are currently recruiting a Rights Manager to join its busy Children's division and are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic person with a proven track record in international rights sales and ideally, in selling to the major UK bookclubs.

Reporting to the Senior Rights Manager, the key responsibilities will include selling co-edition and translation rights across HarperCollins' children's lists - picture books, fiction and properties - to key international territorties and to the UK bookclubs. This will involve setting annual budgets and monthly forecasting to achieve ambitious targets as well as a vital role at acquisition stage to maximise sales potential in these channels.

The right candidate should have excellent communication and negotiation skills, sound commercial awareness and market knowledge and a willingness to travel.
