Our client is a highly reputable publishing house that is part of a large, international publishing group. They are seeking a new Content Editor to work on the Human Resources & Small Businesses list. This is a permanent, full time role.

In this interesting position, you will work on a varied range of formats including loose-leaf services, newsletters, bulletins and bound books in both print and electronic formats. Using your top notch editorial skills you will edit, re-structure and proof-read the content, and liaise with authors as well as in-house contacts to provide feedback. You will work closely with the Development Editor to plan the publishing schedule and will conduct regular research into competitor activity

The successful candidate will have a good educational background as well as proven editorial skills, particularly in copy-editing and proof-reading. You will have excellent computer skills and will ideally have experience of working on business and/or legal publications. This role is based in Kingston , a short train ride from London Waterloo or South London areas.
