A prestigious and world leading Schools publisher is currently seeking a talented marketing professional to join their team as Head of Marketing (maternity cover) working for the Secondary and Vocational sectors in the UK.

Working with the fastest growing portfolio in the industry, you will be responsible for liaising with the sales team to identify target schools, as well as monitoring customer needs and buying patterns through market research. You will identify and understand new products ahead of the company’s competitors, agree product propositions, promotional messages and creative campaigns, prioritize workflow, monitor offers and incentives, and source, negotiate and brief the design and print teams. You will also ensure the most effective marketing mix is selected for products, manage the annual planning and budgeting process, and will recruit, motivate and competently manage the secondary marketing team.
