The job: A leading provider of data driven marketing solutions is looking to recruit a Head of Division for their mailing and fulfillment business for a 12 month maternity cover commencing May / June 2008. As part of a leading direct communications group with over 50 agencies worldwide, the company has a large and prestigious client base including brand leaders and major businesses within a broad range of industries from financial services providers to leisure operators, automotive retailers to charities. The role will involve day to day management of the fulfilment division, including operations and client services and will have a primary focus on business development and commercial success. Reporting directly to the CEO the person appointed will be responsible for around 70 staff plus 100 agency staff and 9 direct reports over approximately 30,0000 sq ft of production, office, warehouse and storage spaces.

The person:  The company are looking for candidates with proven success working in a similar role within a mailing house and who are particularly strong in the area of business development and commercial success. The successful candidate will demonstrate substantial past achievements, enthusiasm and a passion for the industry and ability to lead, co-ordinate and drive a new business development team forward.  Excellent organizational skills and focus on detail should be matched with great communication, leadership and motivational skills and ability to engage with people at all levels from factory floor to board level. Salary:  In the range of £40 – 50k
