Health information service has an exciting new role for a driven information professional with experience and expertise working at a senior level in clinical librarianship. This role will play an integral role in the future strategic development of the digital collection and will be directly accountable for all aspects of collections development, ensuring they reflect users needs. Responsibilities will include taking the lead in expanding online information, procurement and management of the digital contracts, developing a digital collections strategy, influencing project boards and developing relationships with partner organisations. You will also manage a large budget and 5 members of staff. An information qualification or equivalent experience are essential for this role as is a highly developed understanding of health care needs. Excellent interpersonal, leadership and communication skills using a range of media formats are also required as are excellent analytical and judgement skills. A Prince2 qualification is  highly desirable.
