A prestigious and inspirational role has arisen to develop and lead our Publishing function across English Heritage.You are an organised, creative and forward thinking individual who can direct and develop our publishing programme to the high quality and exceptional standards English Heritage expects.

You will be responsible for driving our publishing programme.You will have a thorough understanding of the publishing market and its audience and a clear sense of how to build English Heritage’s presence in the market, developing external publishing partnerships where necessary.

You must have a degree or equivalent, preferably in history, archaeology or a related subject combined with a clear understanding of English Heritage’s core values, aims and objectives.With excellent leadership skills, you will also have proven abilities and extensive knowledge of electronic and online publishing, print and production values and sales and marketing.
