A globally recognised brand name company, based in Hampshire, is seeking to appoint a Publishing Director. Reporting to the Finance Director, you will be primarily involved with the development of strategy and the management & implementation of the business plan for all printed and electronic publishing activities within the Group.

Your overriding aim will be to achieve increasing sales and profit growth from the Group’s publishing output and expand its worldwide distribution network. You will also be responsible for unlocking the commercial IP value of our vast database and image archive. You will have a good knowledge of the technical processes involved and strong project and change management skills. Beyond that you will be able to demonstrate a track record of commercial achievement plus the ability to fully utilise the value of content using all available channels.

You will have excellent interpersonal, organization and communications skills and the demonstrable ability to function with a high level of independence and initiative. Previous experience at a senior level within publishing is essential and the successful candidate will be appointed a director of the company.
