A major opportunity to join the senior management team of a leading London-based children’s publisher! Our client is seeking to appoint a Commercial Director within their Magazine Division.

The successful candidate will drive profitable sustainable growth through existing product new titles and business development. Part of the senior team, you will influence and shape business strategy and development. You will have a demonstrable record of commercial success; first class communication skills; an effective consultative style as well as strong team leading and mentoring skills.

You will be familiar with system processes and branding in magazines and will work closely with internal colleagues to ensure your department delivers against set targets. Experience of working with web sites is important as is your knowledge and experience of magazine publishing. Experience of children’s licensed character publishing would be desirable but is not essential.
